Admin SupportOk, so we are going to let you in on something (hopefully it's not a secret). Kornukopia has done everything humanly possible to provide you with an easy system to implement, use and administer. We want you to use our system, heck we give it away for free. We did not want schools claiming that we gave the system away but charged big money for support. For this reason, we have provided you with everything you need in terms of documentation, training and demos. So, why do we offer support for admins? You know why... we understand that you are often times doing this alone or in a small team and it is hard, and sometimes you just want to make a call, get the answer, solve the problem and be done. Sometimes there is some urgency or it's important, or you have a pressing need or are a afraid if you did something it could break something else.
What is the difference between admin support and the other choices?
Answer: Admin support is for one person and it gives that one person unlimited admin support for one year.
Do I need both Faculty/Helpdesk and Admin?
Answer: No. If you choose only Admin you will get admin. But if you choose Faculty or Helpdesk you can get your admin support through that purchase. You just have to be aware that your calls count to the amount of incidents your school has purchased.
Do I need Faculty and Helpdesk?
Answer: No, they are just marketing packages. The result is the same. Some schools wanted to buy packages in smaller quantities for their faculty so we created some faculty bundles, it just gives you more flexibility.
What if I don’t see the quantity or I want a custom solution?
Answer: Ok, so you need something special. That’s ok we like special. We do it all the time. Just click on this link below, send us your information and we will call you and figure it out. How long are the incident packs good for?
Answer: An entire year from the date you buy them.
What if I need more?
Answer: You can buy another pack, any size you like. We will notify you prior to running out.
Will Packs renew?
Answer: When you purchase the pack we will inform you as your quantity of incidents falls below 30% remaining. If your remaining balance falls below the 30%, you have the option to buy additional packs.
Is there such a thing as Roll-over incidents?
Answer: Yes, if you go into the next year and renew or buy another incident pack your previous incidents rollover to the new plan.
How many incidents do I need?
Answer: We would advise you to use this formula for Kornukopia support (Amount of Faculty and Staff times 1) with a minimum of 50 Incidents. Some of your faculty won’t call/chat or email, and some will use it often. Keeping in mind that we can also provide support for internet access, email and other basic stuff so if you use us for that than buy more. It’s your choice.
Will support do password resets?
Answer: No, sorry our privacy and confidentiality policy do not allow us to manually go into your system and renew the password. We just don’t know your users and we don’t have a way to verify them. However, in Kornukopia we provide a “forgot my password” function that allows the user to manage their own password.
